Detectives are appealing for information following a burglary that occurred in Braeside Manor area of Dromore yesterday evening, 12 November.
Detective Inspector Jill Duffie said, “Sometime around 7.30pm, three masked men entered the home of an elderly man.
The men tied the victim up before rummaging through the house. It is believed that the men made off empty handed. The elderly man was not injured in the incident but was left badly shaken.
“Anyone who may have seen any suspicious behaviour in the area at this time is asked to contact CID at Banbridge Police Station on the non-emergency number 101.
“Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
