FLYBE is today starting a new service from Belfast to London.

There will be three flights daily from George Best Belfast City to London City Airport.

The airline says it is part of an expansion that will link the UK regions to the heart of London’s financial district.

Flybe is also introducing four flights a day from Dublin to London City.

Earlier this year, Flybe’s direct flights from George Best Belfast City airport to London Gatwick were dropped after it decided to sell its runway slots at Gatwick airport to Easyjet.
