DETECTIVES have arrested a man following the search of a property in East Belfast this afternoon.
The 28-year-old was detained in the Clara Way area off the Knock dual carriageway on suspicion of possession of Class A controlled drugs, possession of class B controlled drugs, possession of class B controlled drugs with intent to supply and cultivating cannabis.
He is currently in custody assisting police with their enquiries.
Said Chief Inspector David Moore said “Officers discovered approximately £10,000 of cannabis and made the arrest following a planned search of a property in East Belfast today.
“This seizure is another step in the process of removing harmful substances and keeping people safe.”
