A NUMBER of suspected bomb component parts have been found during a planned search in south Belfast on Tuesday night.

It follows a tip off to the PSNI’s C3 Intelligence Branch.

The PSNI and Army Technical Officers  are examining a number of items following a search at a property at Rathcoole Street.

They have been removed for forensic examination.

The property is near Lisburn Road police station.

Police have released no further details at this stage.
