MAN TO FACE COURT AFTER POLICE UNCOVER CANNABIS FARM

Craigavon Magistrates CourtDETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Organised Crime Branch have charged a man with a number of drugs offences after officers found a rural cannabis factory.

He is due to appear at Craigavon Magistrates’ Court this morning, Friday, July 18.

The 49 year old has been charged with producing a class B drug and possessing a class B drug with intent to supply and also for illegal entry to the United Kingdom.

As is normal prodedure the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

The charges relate to the discovery of a suspected cannabis farm in the Tandragee Road area of Portadown on Thursday, July 17.
