DISSIDENT republican group Oglaigh na hEireann shot a man in west Belfast last night.
The victim, who is in his 30s, sustained a gunshot wound to his leg in the attack in Ardmonagh Gardens in the Turf Lodge area of the city.
The shooting was reported to police at about 10.30 pm on Tuesday night.
He was been taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital for treatment but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The victim is the second male to be shot by ONH within the past week in west Belfast.
A special team within the PSNi’s Terrorist Investigation Unit is currently probing a whole series of punishment shootings dating back a number of years.
