AN 18 year old man has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and common assault.

He is due to appear at Ballymena Magistrates Court on the morning of Saturday 12 July.

As is normal procedure, all charges are reviewed by the PPS.

The charge is believed to be in connection with an assault on a 22 year old man that occurred in the early hours of Friday 11 July in the Ballymoney Road area of Ballymena.
