POLICE are investigating an arson attack in which two cars were destroyed in Magherafelt, County Derry, earlier this week.

A silver Honda Jazz and a silver Ford Mondeo were targeted in the incident which occurred at Leckagh Walk at around 4.00am on Tuesday.

A police spokesperson asked anyone with information about the incident to contact the CID at Magherafelt on 0845 600 8000, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting reference number 281 18/03/14.
