Happy Valentine’s Day dear….you are going to the divorce court

A Northern Ireland woman has revealed how she received her divorce hearing papers…to go to court on Valentine’s Day!

The mum of-four, who asked not to be identified, told Belfast Daily how she opened her mail today to find her divorce proceedings were taken place on Friday, February 14!

She told Belfast Daily: “I had been waiting for this to happen for God know’s how long.

“I had almost given up that my divorce was ever going to come through because the number of mess-ups along the way.

“And then I get up the this morning and I find a letter from my solicitors to say that we finally got a date for my divorce – Valentine’s Day!

“How romantic I thought. It is not the way I had planned to spend Valentine’s Day but there you go,” added the Co Antrim mum.
