MURDER BID PROBE AFTER PETROL BOMB ATTACK ON SOUTH BELFAST HOUSE

PSNIDETECTIVES are treating an arson attack on a house in south Belfast as attempted murder.

A man who was in the house at the time in Agra Street escaped injury during the attack on Tuesday evening around 9.20 pm

A PSNI spokesperson said the intended victim was not injured by the petrol bomb which caused minor scorch damage when it struck the front of the house.

The thugs hurled a brick at the property, smashing a window.

Detectives investigating the attack have asked for anyone who noticed suspicious activity in the area at the time to contact them on 0845 600 8000 or use Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.
