DETECTIVES are on the trail of a death driver after a man in his 50s was killed in a suspected hit-and-run incident.

The fatality happened around 2.50 am on Sunday morning on the Tullychurry Road in Leggs, near Belleek, Co Fermanagh.

According to the PSNI, detectives at Enniskillen CID are trying to trace a blue Ford Focus in connection with the death.

They are keen to hear from anyone who has noticed the car since the hit-and-run incident which may have frontal damage.

The Tullychurry Road is expected to remain for some time as a full scale forensic examination is carried out of the scene.
