POLICE are investigating a gun attack on a house in west Belfast on Tuesday night.

The suspected reprisal attack happened at a house in the Sliabh Dubh area.

Initial reports suggest that the attack may be linked to a gun attack on a house in the Ballymurphy area.

A car used in the gun attack has been found burned out. Police have retained it for possible for forensic clues.
