Police released a man arrested over the attempted murder of teenager in west Belfast

A man from Northern Ireland has been arrested in England on behalf of the PSNI.

Police in Birmingham arrested the 45-year-old man on Monday morning at the request of the PSNI’s Serious Crime Branch.

He is to be flown back to Northern Ireland to be questioned about serious crime in the province.

The suspect will taken to the serious crime suite in Antrim to be processed and quizzed.

Police have not released any further details at this stage.
