IT’S that time of the year again for BBC Children in Need night.

And men, women and children across Northern Ireland and in the UK are raising money for the charity.

In north Belfast, ‘Camp Twaddell’ protestors have been out with buckets trying to raise for the Children In Need.

They have left their camp dressed up in costume in the hope passing motorists will dig deep and fill their buckets for the worthy BBC cause.

They raised £496 during their evening collection.

Earlier this week, TV celebrity Russell Brand turned up and paid a visit at what loyalists call their ‘civil rights camp’.

One wag said on Twitter: “He thought he was going to b-rand parade!!!”’
