Police warn motorists to take extra car on the M1 motorway because of ice

THE PSNI are warning motorists to slow down and exercise care on the province’s roads on Saturday morning.

This follows an overnight frost which has left a blanket of ice in parts.

In particular, drivers are asked to take care on the M1 motorway between junctions 12 and 13 because of ice.
