Police are appealing for information fireworks were thrown at pets in Ards

POLICE are probing a number of complaints of anti-social behaviour this week in Co Down.

The PSNI in Ards said it received reports of youths setting off fireworks in the Scrabo area of the town.

“We have been told that fireworks are being thrown at domestic pets and also used to damage people’s property,” said Ards PSNI.

Anyone with any information about who is involved in these attacks or knows who is supplying the fireworks is asked to contact police 0845 600 8000 or ring Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
