MAZE U-TURN: SF’S MCGUINNESS QUIET ON DUP DECISION TO HALT PEACE CENTRE

Peter Robinson and Martin McGuinness no longer singing from the same hymn sheet over the Maze

SINN Fein deputy first minister Martin McGuinness has made no public comment yet on the DUP decision to walk away from the Maze peace centre.

Normally, Mr McGuinness is quick to go on Twitter to give his views on a range of issues, political and non political.

Today, he is strangely silent on Peter Robinson’s letter from America saying he was no longer going to support the Maze plans over recent conduct by Sinn Fein over marching and the Castlederg IRA parade last Sunday.

In fact, the Sinn Fein MLA’s his only tweet this afternoon has read: “Left Stormont over an hour ago on my way back to Derry, cloud & rain all the way. Grrrr”
