NORTH BELFAST TROUBLE: POLICE WAIT AT HOSPITAL TO ARREST RIOTERS

POLICE officers are waiting at the Mater Hospital in north Belfast to make a number arrests.

It is understood a number of people were struck with baton rounds in the Woodvale Road and Twaddell Avenue junctions on Friday evening.

PSNI units fired around ten AEP baton rounds.

Among those injured were two women.
