A survey of Northern Ireland teachers has revealed the top five names of children with the best behaviour – with girls apparently needing less telling-off than boys.
The results reveal that Sarah is the name that tops the good behaviour poll, commissioned by the Schoolwear Association.
Next up are Lucy and Hannah, followed by Harry and Jessica.
Three-quarters of the teachers surveyed said they found themselves telling off boys more than girls.
Answering back is said to be the most common form of bad behaviour in the classroom.
Refusing to do work and verbal bullying are the next biggest problems on the list, followed by physical bullying and causing damage to school property.
But it seems that Sarahs are the most likely to turn up in the proper uniform, do their schoolwork and generally be well-behaved.
