Linfield manager David Jeffrey’s game against Dungannon off over heavy rain

FIRST it was the snow that hit the Danske Bank Irish Premier League fixtures in recent weeks.

Now it is the rain.

Three Irish Premiership matches due to played on Friday night have been called off because of waterlogged pitches.

The game between Dungannon Swifts and Linfield at Stangmore Park has become the victim of persisitent heavy rain during Friday.

The fixture between Ballymena United and Donegal Celtic at the Showgrounds has also been postponed.

And on Friday afternoon the game between Glentoran and Glenavon at the Oval has also been called of.

Ballinamallard against Portadown at Ferney Park on Friday night is still going ahead at the moment.
