Detective make major cocaine bust

DETECTIVES from the PSNI’S Organised Crime Branch have arrested two people over a major cocaine bust.

The man and women have been arrested after police found cocaine in a car close to Banbridge, Co Down.

OCB officers stopped the vehicle on the A1 dual carriage way on Friday night.

They found a significant quantity of the class A drug .

A 32-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of possession of a Class A controlled drug and possession of a Class A controlled drug with intent to supply.

The pair are in custody on Saturday helping police with their inquiries.
