Police probe crash after man left critically injured

A CYCLIST is in a critical condition in hospital following a crash with a car on the outskirts of Belfast.

The man was left seriously injured following the incident earlier this morning and part of the Old Ballynahinch Road in Lisburn has been closed while police investigate the crash.

The victim was taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast where he is said to be in a critical condition in the intensive care unit.
