DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Public Protection Branch investigating the allegations of ill-treatment of patients at Muckamore Abbey hospital have made a fresh arrest.

The PSNI say a 57 year old female was detained this morning, Monday, September 7 in the Antrim area. 

There are no further details at this time.

The suspect is the 8th person to be arrested by detectives investigating the allegations of ill-treatment of patients at Muckamore.
