A 30-year-old man has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, robbery and possession of a Class C Controlled drug.

He is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates’ Court today, Wednesday, April 1. 

As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

The charges are in relation to a report of an assault which took place in the Fountain Street area of Belfast City Centre on Monday, 30th March.
