TWO CHARGED OVER SOUTH BELFAST HOUSE BURGLARY

A 19 year old man has been charged with aggravated vehicle taking causing damage to the vehicle, burglary, driving whilst disqualified, handling stolen goods and using a motor vehicle without insurance.

He is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court on Friday 21st February.

A 20 year old man has been charged with aggravated vehicle taking causing damage to the vehicle, burglary, possessing article with blade or point in a public place and possession of a Class B controlled drug.

He is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court on Thursday 19th March.

As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.

The charges are in relation to a report of burglary at residential premises in the Oakwood Crescent area of south Belfast sometime between 11:30 pm on Wednesday night (19th February) and 10:30 am  on Thursday morning,  February 20.

A 17 year old male also arrested in relation to the incident remains in police custody at this time.
