ANTI-TERROR COPS CHARGE MAN OVER £62,000 BENEFIT FRAUD RACKET

DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Terrorist Investigation Unit have charged a 39 year old man with ‘fraud by false representation’.

It relates suspected benefit fraud totalling £62,217.59.

He is expected to appear at Belfast Magistrates’ Court Monday, December 30, for first remand hearing.

As is usual procedure the charges will be reviewed by the PPS.

The male was arrested following a search at a property in North Belfast in March.
