Man faceS Ballymena Magistrates’ Court on multi million pound fraud offences

DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Economic Crime Unit have charged a man in connection with a multi-million pound investment fraud investigation.

The 50 year old was arrested in Glasgow on Wednesday.

He was subsequently charged with 147 offences including fraud and possessing criminal property.

He appeared at Ballymena Magistrates this morning where he was remanded into custody.

The 147 charges refer to 135 victims across the UK.
