Malcolm McKeown a short time before he was shot dead

DETECTIVES investigating the murder of 54 year old Malcolm McKeown in Waringstown on Monday, August 19, have arrested a 24 year old man on suspicion of murder.

He was arrested this morning in the Lurgan area and has been taken to Musgrave Serious Crime Suite.

He remains in custody being questioned by detectives.

Two men were remanded in custody earlier this week charged with McKeown’s murder.

Police believe he was shot dead as part of feud between criminal drug gangs.
