GANG STORM EAST BELFAST HOUSE AND BATTER THREE MEN WITH HAMMER

The burglary happened in the Calvin Street area off the Beersbridge Road in the early hours of Wednesday, August 7, when five men gained entry to house and assaulted three male occupants aged 47, 49 and 53.

All three men suffered injuries that are not believed to be serious.

Detective Sergeant O’Flaherty appealed for anyone with any information regarding either incident to contact police on 101, quoting reference 42 7/8/19.
