MAN FOUND MURDERED IN HOUSE NAMED AS PAUL SMYTH

DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Major Investigation Team investigating the murder of a man at a house in the Coulson Avenue area of Lisburn on Friday, have named the victim as 50 year old Paul Smyth.

Detective Chief Inspector Eamonn Corrigan said: “Paul was found in his living room at around 8.45pm on Friday night, 21 June.

“Three men aged 49, 32, 28 years old and a 28 year old woman have been arrested in the Lisburn area on suspicion of murder and remain in custody at this time.

“I am appealing for anyone with information that could potentially assist the investigation to please get in touch by calling 101.

“Or alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.”
