DETECTIVES are investigating the report of a burglary at a house during which cash was taken.

The break in happened in the Ballymena Road area of Ahoghill on Wednesday,  April 17.

Detective Sergeant Crothers said: “It is believed the burglary took place sometime between 8 am and 6 pm yesterday, April 17, and a sum of money was taken.

“We are appealing to anyone with information, or who may have witnessed any suspicious activity or vehicles in the area, to get in touch on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 1081 of 17/04/19.”

Alternatively, information can be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.
