Man to face Belfast Magistrates’ Court accused of having a bomb in an east Belfast flat last year

A 30 year old man has been charged with possession of explosives in suspicious circumstances and possession of ammunition without a certificate.

He is due to appear Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Friday 22nd February.

As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.

The charges are in relation to the discovery of a viable device at a flat in the Mount area of east Belfast on Saturday, September 8, 2018.
