MOTORISTS are caught up in long delays on Wednesday morning following a seven vehicle crash on ther M2 between Templepatrick and Antrim.

The northbound lanes have been closed following the collision.

A recovery and cleanup operation is currently underway to clear the road.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “Police are advising motorists of long delays on the M2 motorway northbound carriageway between junctions 6&7, Templepatrick and Antrim, following a road traffic collision.

“Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes if possible.;;
