TEEN CHARGED TO COURT OVER WEST BELFAST STABBING INCIDENT

Teen to face Belfast Magistrates’ Court over west Belfast stabbing incident

AN 18 year old man has been charged with two counts of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of an offensive weapon.

He is expected to appear at Belfast Magistrates court this morning, Monday, October 15.

As is usual procedure the charges will be reviewed by the PPS.

The charges follow a disturbance in the Percy Street area of west Belfast on Friday, October 12, during which three people were stabbed.

A woman and a man, both in their thirties, who were also arrested in connection with the same incident have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
