Former BBC News Presenter and Northern Ireland journalist, Sarah Travers has been unveiled as the new face for firmus energy’s winter marketing campaign

LOCAL natural gas Company, firmus energy has unveiled former BBC News Presenter and Northern Ireland journalist, Sarah Travers as the face of its new winter marketing campaign, ‘Love Natural Gas’.

firmus energy supplies natural gas to over 86,00 homes and businesses across Northern Ireland and first brought the alternative fuel choice to Sarah’s hometown, Portstewart back in 2010.

Since then it has connected over 1,000 properties in the area including well known businesses such as Harry’s Shack, Shenanigans Venue and Morelli’s.

Over the years firmus energy has expanded its network to more and more homes in the area and earlier this year natural gas was made available to Sarah’s home.

North Coast lady born and bred, Sarah Travers welcomed firmus energy with open arms when they extended their natural gas network to her hometown of Portstewart.

Speaking of her involvement in the campaign Sarah explains:

“I was thrilled when I received a letter to say that my house was finally connectable to natural gas as I have always been keen to make the switch away from oil. It was an added bonus that they offered me the opportunity to be their Brand Ambassador, of course I said yes.”
