POLICE have charged a 59-year-old man with offences including carrying a firearm with criminal intent, and possession of a firearm or ammunition in suspicious circumstances. 

He is due to appear at Dungannon Magistrates’ Court later this morning, Friday 4 May. 

As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service. 

The charge is in relation to an incident at a polling station in Greencastle on Thursday, 3 May.
