THREE RELEASED AFTER TWO MEN CHEAT INJURY IN GUN ATTACK

DETECTIVES have released three people arrested following a report that shots were fired at a house on Sunday morning.

During following up inquiries into the gun attack in the Castleview area of Killyleagh officers arrested two men aged 25 and 39 and a 21 year old woman. 

They have now been released on police bail pending further inquiries.

Two men who were present in the house at the time of the incident were not injured, however they have been left very badly shaken.

Detective Sergeant Mark Crothers has appealed to anyone who witnessed this incident, which is believed to have occurred shortly before 7 am on Sunday morning to contact them.

Police would also appeal to anyone who noticed any suspicious persons/activity in the vicinity at approximately 5.30am/6.00am on Sunday morning, to also contact them.
