‘UNTOUCHABLES’ CHARGE MAN OVER WEST BELFAST UDA COCAINE PROBE

A 24 year old man has been charged by ‘The Untouchables’ with possessing Class A controlled drugs with intent to supply.

He is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates’ Court this morning, Saturday, December 16, for a first remand hearing.

As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.

Police are expected to object to the suspect being released on bail.

The charges follow the arrest of the 24 year old man in the Belfast area yesterday, Friday 15 December.

The previous day officers from the Paramilitary Crime Task Force raided properties in Belfast and Newtownabbey.

It is part of an ongoing probe by ‘The Untouchables’ into the drug dealing activities of the UDA’s West Belfast brigade.
