MAN ARRESTED THREE MALES STORM WEST BELFAST WITH ARMED WITH GUN

DETECTIVES are appealing for witnesses following an aggravated burglary of a house in west Belfast last night.

It was reported that around 8.50 pm three males forced their way into a house at Earlscourt Street on Friday, December 8 brandishing a gun and making demands.

The males made off on foot, two along Earlscourt Street and the third made off towards Cavendish Street.

A 31 year old man was arrested in the west Belfast area later that night.

He remains in police custody at this time.

Detective Sergeant Kelly is appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident or anyone with any information that can assist with the investigation to contact Detectives in Musgrave Police Station on 101 quoting reference number 1661 of 08/12/17.

Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.
