BRITAIN FIRST DEPUTY LEADER JAYDA FRANSEN TO FACE COURT OVER ‘THREATENING’ BELFAST SPEECH

Jayda Fransen charged over speech she gave at rally in Belfast in August

DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Criminal Investigation Branch have charge Britain First deputy leader Jayda Fransen with using threatening, abusive, insulting words or behaviour.

The 31-year-old was arrested in London on Saturday and flown back to Musgrave PSNI station in Belfast for questioning

She is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court on Thursday 14 December.

The charges are in relation to speeches made at the Northern Ireland Against Terrorism Rally on Sunday 6th August this year.

As is normal procedure the charges will be reviewed by the PPS
