DETECTIVES at Musgrave PSNI station are appealing for information following an assault of a man in the Royal Avenue area of central Belfast yesterday, Sunday, September 17.

Detective Inspector Richard Thornton said “At approximately 8:00 pm the man was found bleeding from the head and taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries.

“It is believed he had earlier been on a bicycle and was attacked by a man accompanied by a female who then stole the bicycle.

“Anyone with information should contact 101 quoting reference 1223 of 17/09/17, or if they wish to remain anonymous Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
