POLICE investigating reports of an assault at a concert in the Ormeau embankment area of South Belfast on Monday of this week ave arrested a 20 year old male in Belfast this morning.

He is currently being quizzed at the PACE custody suite at Musgrave PSNI station in Belfast.

Chief Inspector Gavin Kirkpatrick said, “While we have arrested a male who is currently helping with our enquiries, I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident, or who may have any information about it, to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 1438 of 21 June 2017.

“Alternatively, information can be given anonymously by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
