POLICE are advising motorists possible traffic disruption this afternoon in east Belfast.

Delay could be expected in the Cregagh Road/ Ladas Drive/Mount Merrion Avenue areas between 5:00 pm  and  6:30 pm  and between 7:30 pm and 8:30 pm due to the Ulster rugby match against Zebre (kick off 6.05 pm) at the Kingspan Stadium.

A police spokesperson said: “There will be limited access to Onslow Parade and Ravenhill Park for residents, public transport and taxis dropping off fans at the stadium.

“Those attending the match are being asked to use ‘Park and Ride’ facilities provided by Ulster Rugby.

“Anyone parking in the vicinity of the stadium should ensure driveways and other access routes are kept clear.

“Please follow directions of local police.”
