HANDBAG STOLEN DURING BURGLARY IN NORTH BELFAST

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a burglary in north Belfast.

It happened at a house in St Andrews Court, off the Woodvale Road.

Detectives say the offenders broke into the house at around 2 pm and stole a handbag with a sum of money in it.

They made their escape in a black car.

“Detectives are appealing for anyone with information or who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area at the time to contact detectives at Musgrave Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 622 of the 06/03/17.

“Or, alternatively they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
