DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Terrorist Investigation Unit have arrested a 42 year old man oer an explosion at Palace Barracks in Holywood in August 2015.

He has been taken to Musgrave Serious Crime Suite for questioning.

The device went inside a postal package inside the Co Down base which also home to MI5 in Northern Ireland.

The attack was then part of a wider postal bomb campaign by dissident republicans.
