POLICE say a man in his 30s has died in a multi-vehicle road crash on the M2 motorway.

The crash happened between Templepatrick and Sandyknowes on Monday night shortly before 8.40 pm.

The PSNI say the man was the driver of one of the cars involved in the crash.

Two other men were hurt in the incident but their injuries are not life threatening.

The M2 remains closed between Templepatrick and Sandyknowes.
