DEFIBRILLATOR STOLEN FROM OUTSIDE SHOP IN SOUTH BELFAST

defibrillator-stolen-south-belfastPOLICE are investigating after a defibrillator was stolen from the side of a shop in south Belfast.

It happened at Rutland Street just off the lower Ormeau Road sometime between midnight and 10 am yesterday.

Constable Gillham said: “This type of equipment is used to benefit the wider public. It is fitted so that it can be used in an emergency.

“We would appeal to anyone who may have information relating to this incident to contact police at Lisburn Road station and quote reference CCS 295 of 07/11/16.

“Or indeed if you happen to be aware of where this equipment is currently located please contact police so that arrangements can be made to have it reinstated.
