POLICE have arrested a man in connection with a serious assault at McDonald’s restaurant in Belfast city centre yesterday.
The 19-year-old was arrested earlier today in the Belfast area in relation to an attack in Donegall Place in the early hours of yesterday morning.
A bust up broke out between two men inside the premises at about 12.35 am.
It then spilled out onto the street where a man in his 30s sustained a serious head injury.
The detained man has been taken to the PACE custody suite at Musgrave PSNI station for questioning and processing.
