DETECTIVES have charged a 23-year-old man with raping a woman.

The victim was attacked while walking her dog on an isolated path in Peatlands Park, Dungannon.

The attack happened around 2.45 pm on Wednesday.

The 23-year-old is to face Omagh Magistrates’ Court on Monday for a first remand hearing.
