AN investigation is underway after a man was injured in an oil drum explosion at an industrial estate in north Belfast this afternoon.
The incident happened at the Edenderry Industrial Estate on the Crumlin Road.
It is understood the man suffered minor injuries in the incident
Fire chiefs say a 40 gallon drum blew up in the yard.
“NIFRS received a call at 12:27pm to a report of an incident at business premises at the Crumlin Road area of north Belfast this afternoon.
“One man had been taken to a nearby hospital before firefighters arrived at the scene.”
The Health and Safety Executive is now on site and is investigating the incident.
